Celebrating its 68th Anniversary, BCA Holds First Blood Donation Drive of 2025 and Collects 396 Bags of Blood

Jakarta, 5 March 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) held a blood donation program, involving BCA employees in collaboration with The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). This initiative is part of BCA’s ongoing commitment to creating a tangible impact on society. The event was held over two days, 27-28 February 2025, at Menara BCA, Jakarta, and successfully collected 396 bags of blood.

This initiative represents the 118th collaboration between BCA and PMI since 1990. Since 2016, under the Bakti BCA program, the blood donation initiative has collected a total of 14,740 bags of blood. Besides Jakarta, BCA has also held blood donation events at various regional offices and branches in early 2025, including Makassar, Blitar, Semarang, Tebing Tinggi, and Prabumulih. “We believe that every drop of donated blood brings hope and life to those in need. BCA will continue to contribute as part of social solutions through tangible actions that benefit the wider community,” said BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP, Hera F. Haryn.

A Total of 396 BCA Employees Participate in the Blood Donation Program - BCA employees took part in the 118th blood donation event at Menara BCA on Friday (28/2). Throughout 2024, Bakti BCA organized 22 blood donation events, which were not only held at BCA’s headquarters in Jakarta but also at various regional and branch offices across Indonesia including in Medan, Samarinda, Yogyakarta, Bandar Lampung, Solo, Makassar, Probolinggo, and Mataram.
