Jakarta, 22 March 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) collaborate with the Muhammadiyah Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah Institution (Lazismu) to provide a payment system for zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) through the myBCA application. This collaboration adds ZIS payment options via Lazismu on BCA, allowing customers to distribute social aid more flexible and easier.
The launch and signing of the cooperation agreement between BCA and Lazismu was attended by Muhammadiyah Central Chairman (PP) Muhadjir Effendy, Muhammadiyah Central Secretary M Izzul Muslimin, Lazismu Chairman Ahmad Imam Mujadid Rais, Lazismu President Director Ibnu Tsani, BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, and BCA Director Santoso.
BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono stated, “As a banking institution, BCA has observed the growth of charitable activities over the years, influenced by technological advancements. Today, people tend to channel their donations through digital platforms. Therefore, BCA is committed to providing services that make it easier for customers to fulfill their charitable intentions. The addition of the ZIS payment feature via Lazismu in the myBCA app aims to optimize the collection and distribution of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah.”
Here the steps to pay zakat, infaq, and sadaqah through Lazismu using the myBCA app:

- Select the “Pay and Top-Up”
- Choose the “Donasi & Zakat”
- Select “Lazismu.”

Lazismu Chairman Ahmad Imam Mujadid Rais welcomed this partnership. He stated that Lazismu is ready to support the collection and distribution of ZIS through digital channels like myBCA to accommodate the increasingly modern lifestyle driven by technological advancements.
This collaboration also aligns with Lazismu’s mission to enhance services by providing ease and convenience for Muslims to fulfill their obligation to pay zakat. Through this digital-based service integration, it is hoped that Muslims can continue to contribute thus creating a social impact, especially for those in need as beneficiaries.

BCA and Lazismu have previously collaborated on zakat, infaq, and sadaqah payments through BCA account transfers. Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, public enthusiasm, especially among Muslims, to pay zakat, infaq, and sadaqah is expected to increase. Therefore, the availability of a digital payment channel will make it easier for the public to make ZIS payments.
