Jakarta, 11 April 2019 – Utilizing digital transformation, PT Bank Central Asia (Tbk) launched an online savings account feature on BCA mobile. The online savings account feature is expected to be a feasible option for customers who do not have the time to visit BCA branch offices to do so.
The launching of online savings account on BCA mobile was officially conducted by President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja accompanied by Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono, Director of BCA Santoso in Jakarta, Thursday (11/04).
During the launch, Jahja said that digital transformation is encouraging banks to provide better efficiency and comfort for the people, especially customers. Previously, people or customers who wish to have and open a savings BCA at BCA must come to the nearest branch office and provide all the necessary documents. This time, through the BCA mobile app, opening a savings account has become significantly easier, because customers only need to download the BCA mobile application and choose the Open New Account feature on the main BCA mobile menu.
Jahja said that now customers no longer need to visit the nearest BCA branch office to perform any banking transaction at their fingertips. Nevertheless, BCA continue to making innovations to create safe and practical banking solutions. “We realize that time becomes more valuable and the banks must be able to maximize the digital use to support the public and customers to be more productive and efficient, including by making opening a savings account easier via BCA mobile so that opening a new or additional can be well-accommodated, easier, shorter and can be done from anywhere at anytime,” added Jahja.
To open an account on BCA mobile, select the Open A New Account feature on the main menu, customers and prospective customers will be directed to choose BCA’s savings account products, namely Tahapan, Tahapan Gold and Tahapan Xpresi. Now, opening a savings account can be done in four easy steps: download the BCA mobile app, provide the necessary documents and personal data, video call to verify your personal data, and perform initial deposit via transfer or cardless cash deposit at the nearest BCA’s Setar (Setor Tarik – Deposit Withdrawal) ATM.
To perform a video call, customers and prospective customers only need a stable internet connection to connect with Halo BCA’s CSO. Next is to activate their BCA’s mobile and internet banking, and voilà! The process is complete. Customers can then make an initial deposit to finalize so that they can perform banking transactions.
“By optimizing digital banking experiences, customers can silmutaneously make cardless cash deposits and withdrawals with BCA mobile. Not only that, online savings account on BCA mobile also prioritizes cardless transactions that allow customers to perform any banking transaction without a card.it is expected that the ease of opening a savings account on BCA mobile can help address customers’ various banking transaction needs, who don’t have the time to come to the branch office,” Jahja concluded.
