BCA Signs Mortgage Agreement with Astra Modern Land

Jakarta, 27 April 2018 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is committed to improving its contribution to the Indonesian economy in various sectors, including the property. The commitment is realized by BCA through a Rp50 billion mortgage financing facility channeled through PT Astra Modern Land as the Joint Venture company between PT Astra Internasional Tbk, Hongkong Land and PT Modernland Realty Tbk to develop the ASYA Township project in Jakarta Garden City.

Attending the signing ceremony was Director of BCA Suwignyo Budiman, Executive Vice President of Consumer Credit Business of BCA Felicia Mathilda Simon, President Director of PT Astra Modern Land Wibowo Muljono, Director of PT Astra Modern Land Panji Nurfirman in Jakarta, Friday (27/04).  

“This mortgage financing facility is one of BCA’s efforts to support the government’s optimism in the Indonesian property industry. Not only that, it also expected to meet consumer demands, who mostly choose mortgage payment through banks, as well as providing customers with an ease of long-term mortgage with attractive interest rates,” said Suwignyo.

The ASYA Township Project in Jakarta Garden City is a township project ecompassing 70 ha that offers an eco-friendly concept within the integrated area of Jakarta Garden City, East Jakarta, approximately 5 kilometers from Kelapa Gading. It also features a 15-ha lake with various prime facilities and offers a variety of exclusive property products, including landed house, kondominium, lake villa, commercial area, and public open spaces. The ASYA Townshipwill also has a 2.8 ha lakeside outdoor area. 

Suwignyo added that along with mortgage financing facility, to help realize the customer’s dream to obtain a home of their dream, BCA offers a special interest rate at 5.88% for 3-year fix eff.p.a. It becomes even more special because:

• First, to get this special interest rate, customers do not need to prepare deposit
• Second, minimum tenor of 3 years according to the fix period
• Third, free of penalty for accelerated credit repayments after the fix period ends
  
  

“Through this partnership, BCA also hopes to contribute to the growth of mortgage business through a variety of innovative and competitive products as well as encouraging the distribution of KPR this year. As of the first quarter of 2018, housing loans increased by 10.6% YoY to Rp71.9 trillion,” Suwignyo concluded.
