Joanes said that the participation of BCA Cash Management Academy (CMA) in EPITECH exhibition may serve as a platform to introduce the program to the public, especially among teachers and students of vocational schools. For three days, 12-14 November 2019, students will practice sorting and counting money simulation using a machine.
“We believe that the EPITECH-XIII can be an appropriate place to reintroduce educational and applicative programs to these students. Through this program, we hope that the students can implement the insights and knowledge they have acquired in order to produce graduates who are ready for work, especially in cash and ATM management companies,” explained Joanes.
The BCA Cash Management Academy program is the first banking industry-based Teaching Factory program. It is initiated by the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs to bridge the schools with the industry that share common field of skills. Here, SMK will get supporting machine facilities, such as ATMs, cash recycling machine (CRM), and money couting machiens. A booth will be designed similar to the operational conditions of cash and ATM managers at the EPITECH-XIII
The program is developed as curriculum for the learning process of the students, namely Cash Management Academy, a three-month curriculum. Program participants may also get an opportunity to apply for internship at ATM and cash management of BCA partner companies for six months. This will allow students to experience firsthand the actual working conditions in ATM and cash management. Students will also learn about financial planning and nationalism that might be valuable for them in the future.
“Human resource is one of the key pillars in national development. This provides the background for BCA to continue its commitment to support the government in maximizing human resource empowerment in Indonesia from in all sectors, including vocational schools.
