Karawang, 06 May 2021 – In a measure to support digitization of Land & Building Tax (PBB) payments and revenues, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) signed a MoU with the government of Karawang Regency. The agreement was made to facilitate customers and the public to pay Rural and Urban Land & Building Tax (PBB P2) as well as to support the management of regional government revenues for the benefit of the people.
The signing ceremony was performed by the Head of Regional Revenue Agency of Karawang Regency Hadis Herdiana with Head of Main Branch
Office Lippo Cikarang Sunny Karya, witnessed by the Regent of Karawang Cellica Nurrachadiana together with the Head of BCA Regional Office IX Djoko Rosmiatun Mijaata at Resinda Hotel, Karawang, on Wednesday (05/05).
Djoko said that PBB is one of the primary sources of revenue for local governments, whose allocations are intended for regional progress through tax-funded development. The collaboration with the government of Karawang Regency represents BCA’s continuous efforts to provide the community and the government of Karawang Regency the ease of managing regional revenues for collective progress.
“We fully understand the needs of Karawang Regency Government, the public and BCA’s customers to pay L&B taxes easily, securely, and comfortably. With this collaboration, BCA customers and the public can pay L&B taxes through ATM BCA with ease and comfort,” he said.
Furthermore, Djoko said that the L&B payment infrastructure for Karawang Regency via ATM BCA will commence in one or two months, to ensure readiness for the system at BCA and Karawang Regional Revenue Agency.
