BCA Always by Your Side through #BankingFromHome Throughout Christmas and New Year Holiday

Jakarta, 18 December 2020 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) always provides the best services in catering to customer’s banking needs. Throughout the holiday season of Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021, BCA will suspend branch office operations from 24 - 25 December 2020 and 31 December until 1 January 2021. As for weekend banking will not be available on 26 – 27 December 2020 and 2-3 January 2021.

However, customers can still perform a safe and convenient #BankingFromHome through BCA digital services, such as BCA mobile or KlikBCA. For customers who wish to make a deposit, simply use BCA Cash-Withdrawal ATM, available 24/7. To anticipate the needs of cash via ATM during the holiday season, BCA has prepared Rp30.5 trillion.

“End of Year Holiday Season 2020 this time is different from the previous years as we are still facing the Covid-19 pandemic. However, BCA as part of the national banking is committed to providing optimal banking services to customers in Indonesia through the #BankingFromHome services. Customers can now perform any transaction with ease, including through the BCA mobile app that has been updated with lifestyle features,” said Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Director of BCA.

Jahja added that BCA’s commitment to prioritizing transaction security as the top priority, including during holiday season. There are a number of tips for customers who perform banking transactions using BCA digital services.

Here are tips for safe transactions that #HaveBeenMadeSimple from BCA:

  • Never share your PIN and password with anyone, including close relatives for any reason.
  • Do not give your One Time Password (OTP) and CVV (Card Verification Value) to anyone and do not trust any OTP codes obtained from untrusted sources.
  • Reset your PIN and password with unique combinations periodically to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Should you find any unauthorized transaction or irregularities, please report to HaloBCA.

If you need to open a new savings account or block your existing account during this holiday season, simply go to BCA mobile app. You can also pay your bills using BCA mobile.

Furthermore, the end of year holiday amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has prompted society to maintain physical distancing and avoid physical contact. “BCA understands the needs of its customers for #BankingFromHome. For this reason, as of August 1st, 2020, BCA’s daily limit for internet banking transfer using KlikBCA Individu was increased to Rp250 million per day per user-ID, from previously Rp100 million per day. This change applies to transfers between BCA accounts and interbank transfers,” added Jahja.
