In order to welcome the new normal after the Covid-19 pandemic, BCA through its Superior Business Solutions holds a webinar for 12 BCA’s assisted villages that are scattered in Sumatera, Java and Bali.
The challenges emerge in the new normal era have encouraged BCA and Desa Wisata Institute to provide training for the operators of the Bakti BCA’s tourism villages. The virtual program featured Tourism Consultant Hannif Andy Al Anshori as a speaker with the main topic of Digital Promotion for Tourism Villages. Also attending was Executive Vice President of CSR of BCA Inge Setiawati at the opening of the webinar, accompanied by oleh Vice President of CSR of BCA Ira Bachtar on Thursday (13/08).
“The Covid-19 pandemic that broke out in Indonesia since early March 2020 has affected the tourism sector in Indonesia. Nevertheless, BCA is committed to assisting the 12 assisted tourism villages in order to be adaptable and stay current amid today’s dynamic condition. Through the webinar, BCA and Desa Wisata Institute provide training and knowledge regarding digital utilization as a means of promotion,” explained Inge.
Apart from natural attraction, facilities and services, as well as its unique character, tourist attraction is also determined by the power of promotion. Digital utilization as a promotional strategy accompanied by good management will boost the appeal of a tourism village to tourists, especially in the new normal.
“BCA always provides the operators of the assisted tourism villages with training, even before the Covid-19 pandemic. The provision through this webinar is expected to help the tourism village operators to be more deftly and prudent in seeing digital promotion opportunities. The activity also reinforces BCA’s commitment to always support the development of tourism in Indonesia,” Inge concluded.
