Jakarta, October 11, 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has emerged as the Grand Champion at the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2023. This award is given as a form of appreciation for the quality and transparency that BCA set for its annual report. This achievement also confirms BCA's commitment to continuously improve the quality of Annual Report drafting following Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations.
The ARA 2023 award was received in person by BCA Director Vera Eve Lim from ARA Steering Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Mardiasmo, Akt, MBA, at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building on Monday (7/10).
“This accolade and appreciation is something that we humbly accept as BCA management. We will continue to carry out our responsibility to implement good corporate governance, one of which is by applying the principle of transparency in drafting integrated annual reports. Of course, this award also motivates us to continue improving the quality of governance implementation, as well as ensuring the creation of sustainable value in every business step we take,” said BCA Director Vera Eve Lim.
ARA 2023 is organized by OJK, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of SOEs, the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the National Committee on Governance Policy (KNKG), and the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI).
This year, ARA 2023 carries the theme “Internalizing Integrated Mindset toward Sustainable Long-Term Value Creation”. This theme emphasizes the importance of creating sustainable value in business as well as the integration of social and environmental aspects in company operations.
