Yogyakarta and Jakarta, 6 August 2024 – Celebrating Indonesia's 79th Independence Day, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) under the Bakti BCA will present an event titled "Gebyar BCA Merah Putih: Indonesia Banget!". This event will take place in the Prambanan Temple area, Yogyakarta, from August 22 to 24, 2024. Embracing the spirit of 'BCA Indonesia Banget!', this event reflects the commitment of #BuktiBaktiBCA to preserve noble cultural values and promote the creative industry.
"Gebyar BCA Merah Putih: Indonesia Banget!" will liven up by a series of activities rich in local wisdom and Indonesia's cultural wealth. For instance, the event will feature the Pasar Kangen, ready to delight visitors with traditional culinary dish in a pop-up shop concept. Around 60 MSME tenants will be part of Pasar Kangen, including various MSMEs fostered by Desa Bakti BCA and the Bangga Lokal BCA program. Visitors can enjoy Pasar Kangen in the Outdoor Plaza Trimurti area from 22 to 24 August 2024, while admiring the magnificence of Prambanan Temple.
On the final day of "Gebyar BCA Merah Putih: Indonesia Banget!", which is Saturday (24/8), there will be a musical performance titled "Nusantara: Jiwa Surga Khatulistiwa" at the Ramayana Ballet Prambanan. This performance will showcase wayang stories inspired by Indonesian legends, conveyed through dances, songs, and traditional music from various regions of Indonesia. Specially, the event will also feature Bakti BCA Ambassador Nicholas Saputra, Puteri Indonesia 2024 Harashta Haifa Zahra, and MALIQ & D'Essentials.
More than just enriching culture, the musical performance "Nusantara: Jiwa Surga Khatulistiwa," produced by the Swargaloka studio, also involves students from Bakti BCA foster schools. Tickets for "Nusantara: Jiwa Surga Khatulistiwa" are available in limited numbers for free and can be obtained by the public through Loket.com starting from August 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Besides the musical performance "Nusantara: Jiwa Surga Khatulistiwa" and Pasar Kangen, the "Gebyar BCA Merah Putih: Indonesia Banget!" series will also feature exciting 17th August competitions and special performances by several local artists on the mini stage. The lineup of local artists includes Jogja Hip Hop Foundation and Ririn Sinden Gemoy. All these activities can be enjoyed by visitors free of charge.
