Jakarta, November 21, 2023 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has received the prestigious title of "World's Most Trustworthy Company" by Newsweek Magazine. Specifically for the banking industry category, BCA even ranked first in the world, above 66 other banks from various countries.
In determining the "World's Most Trustworthy Company" list, Newsweek collaborated with global data research company Statista, and surveyed 70,000 participants and collected 269,000 evaluation reports of companies trusted by customers, investors, and employees.
BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said, "We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our loyal customers, which has resulted in BCA being named Newsweek's World's Most Trustworthy Company. Customer trust is both a focus and a source of strength for BCA to continuously improve service quality in line with diverse customer needs. This growth in the number of customer accounts was also followed by an increase in transaction banking activity. BCA's total transaction volume rose 26.8% YoY to reach 22 billion transactions in the first nine months of 2023. The mobile banking channel recorded the highest increase in transaction volume, growing by 43.4% YoY.
