Jakarta, 4 September 2023 – Following its official opening on Wednesday (30/8) at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, BCA Wealth Summit 2023, under the theme "Find Your Way to Infinite Wealth," showcased a range of activities featuring over 25 speakers who are experts in economics, investment, and health. The offline sessions of BCA Wealth Summit 2023, held for 2 days until 31 August 2023, were attended by more than 2,300 visitors, marking a 70% increase compared to BCA Wealth Summit 2022.
BCA Wealth Summit 2023 provides references and recommendations for sustainable asset and wealth management. Economic experts discussed the rise in the United States' interest rates, which is expected to have already reached its peak but will remain at a high level. Additionally, it is predicted that China will face difficulties in replacing the United States as the world's largest economy, as was previously anticipated to occur by the year 2030.
One of the speakers at BCA Wealth Summit 2023 is Lo Kheng Hong, often referred to as the "Warren Buffett" of Indonesia, with a session titled "The Art of Value Investing: Brain vs Emotion." In this session, Lo Kheng Hong shares the initial steps of investing, starting from the importance of getting to know and understand the company, reading the market situation and sentiments, to the mindset required as an investor.

The second-day sessions concluded with a presentation by President Director of BCA, Jahja Setiaatmadja, who discussed the end of the pandemic era and the ongoing global challenges. However, Indonesia possesses a strong economic foundation due to high consumption levels and the recovery of business activities, including in the banking sector. Additionally, Jahja Setiaatmadja explained that election years present opportunities because historically, income in the real sector increases due to the circulation of money. This, of course, provides comfort in investment.
BCA Wealth Summit 2023 extends its offerings with online sessions scheduled from September 1st to September 15th, 2023.
