Jakarta, June 21, 2016 - Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) approved the appointment of Armand Wahyudi Hartono as Deputy President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), effective from June 21, 2016. The approval was given after a fit and proper test conducted by OJK.
As previously informed in the outcome of Annual General Meeting on April 7, 2016, several appointment decisions were made of members of board of commissioners and directors, including the appointment of Armand Wahyudi Hartono, previously a BCA Director, as the new BCA Deputy Director. The appointment will be effective if and since the date OJK gives the approval for the appointment.
Armand Wahyudi Hartono (aged 40) has served as Director since September 14, 2009. Armand was responsible for the operational division, which included Domestic Payments, Electronic Banking Service, International Banking Service, as well as Operational-Service Strategy and Development. Furthermore, he is also responsible for the Information Technology division.
Previously, Armand served as Head of Planning and Development of Regional BCA from 2004 to 2009. Prior to joining BCA, he served a managerial position in PT Djarum from 1998 to 2004 with positions as Financial Director, Deputy Purchasing Director, and Head of Human Resources. Armand Wahyudi Hartono was also an analyst at Global Credit Research and Investment Banking, JP Morgan Singapore, from 1997 to 1998.
Armand Wahyudi Hartono is a graduate of University of California, San Diego (1996) and received a Master of Science in Engineering Economic-System and Operation Research (1997) from Stanford University, USA.
Armand Wahyudi Hartono stated: “I appreciate the trust given to me by the company and stakeholders of BCA. I am ready to hold this responsibility as best as I can while working together with the board of commissioner, directors, as well as BCA family as BCA Deputy Director."
