Jakarta, 4 October 2017 – Entering the second day of the event, Indonesia Knowledge Forum VI (IKF) VI – 2017 concludes with an inspiring speech from the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic Indonesia Ignasius Jonan. In his speech, Jonan shared the importance of information technology in urging the efficient management of energy resources. “For example, with the availability of One Map Indonesia EMR applications, all data related to the EMR sector is now integrated, no more data differences between the Directorate General, it is easy to make it as a policy-making reference. People are also free to access the data for various purposes,” said Jonan.
Furthermore, Jonan also shows a positive appreciation towards the implementation of this positive IKF event. “I appreciate this kind of positive activity. This forum can certainly contribute to the continuous efforts of Indonesia’s economy advancement, especially in the digital economy era,” explained Jonan.
In addition, President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) Jahja Setiaatmadja, in his closing remarks, talked about the importance of collaboration of all stakeholders in advancing an inclusive digital economy in Indonesia. “Indonesia has a great potential to create prosperity through the digital economy.
