BCA to Receive ISO 9001:2015 Certificate

Jakarta, 13 March 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) receives the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for its consumer credit business performance. The ISO certification is based on the evaluation of the quality of consumer credit processes and services provided by BCA, which subsequently make an impact on increased value added by focusing on sustainable aspects and continuous investments both from the BCA’s side as a banking institution and the community as the beneficiary.

Attending to receive the ISO 9001:2015 certification was Director of BCA Suwignyo Budiman, directly submitted Director of URS Indonesia Hominjono. Also attending the event was Executive Vice President of Consumer Credit Business of BCA Felicia Mathilda Simon, Head of BCA Regional Office VIII Haryono Wongsonegoro, Senior Vice President of Consumer Credit Sales Sub Division of BCA Welly Yandoko, Senior Vice President of Consumer Credit Strategic Management Sub Division of BCA Frans Sjarifudin and Senior Vice President Consumer Credit Service Sub Division of BCA Handy Weriko as well as the BCA management in Jakarta, Wednesday (13/03).  

Suwignyo said that BCA is committed to improving the quality of consumer credit processes and services that set its focus on consumer satisfaction and ensuring that the said loans provide sustainable value added both for the customers and BCA as a banking institution.

“The ISO certification serves as a proof that BCA’s consumer credit process and services are carried out in prudent stages and oriented towards sustainable investments. This can be a benchmark for those, both national and international, who wish to open up a partnership with BCA in the future,” added Suwignyo.

As is well known, the ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for quality management that consists of seven focus, namely customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence based decision making, relationship management.

Suwignyo added that with the ISO 9001:2015 certification, it is expected to increase customer confidence, service quality assurance, increase productivity, motivation, morale, and employee performance, as well as improve future efficiency  in order to secure company’s performance that in turn provide value added to all stakeholders and society.
