OneKlik from BCA, Completing Alternative Shopping Payments at Shopee

Jakarta, 9 January 2019 – Online payment methods has become increasing popular especially by those avid e-commerce users. Understanding this, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) together with Shopee Indonesia undertook a strategic partnership on online payment solution via OneKlik.

This strategic partnership was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement attended by Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono, Director of BCA Henry Koenaifi, Executive Vice President of Cash Management BCA Rusdianti Salim, CEO of Shopee Chris Feng, Director of Shopee Indonesia Handhika Jahja in Jakarta (9/1).

On this occasion, Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono said that the increasing public interest in online shopping must be accompanied by various alternative solutions that are not only safe but also easy. “public is now in high demand for online shopping, through our lates innovation, OneKlik, we believe to increase public convenience in maing online payment,” said Armand.

OneKlik is a new online shopping payment solution that allows customers to pay at merchant in one click away. They only have to register the funding from BCA savings account, and OneKlik is ready to use.

OneKlik is an Application Programming Interface (API-based) innovation. It completes another BCA API feature, such as online transfer, balance inquiry, account mutation, virtual account, and others. Since its establishment in early 2017, BCA’s API has been claimed by hundreds of business clients with major users working in fintech and e-commerce industry, including Shopee.

This includes intensifying our partnership with leading partners to offer various payment options. Shopee welcomes the collaboration with BCA in the latest payment method launching, OneKlik. Shopee users who wish to use OneKlik can register and pay through Shopee application by doing the following steps:

  • Make sure your BCA Mobile (m-BCA) on your gadget is active for financial transaction.

Registration Payment
  • Open Shopee app
  • Login to your account, select savings account
  • Select OneKlik
  • Enter card number and daily limit
  • Enter OTP
  • Finish (registration only once)
  • Go to payment screen
  • Select OneKlik
  • Payment is complete

The advantages of using OneKlik as a payment method are:

  • Not complicated: pay without going through many processes
  • Unlimited transactions: Make online shopping transactions anywhere and anytime
