Jakarta, 15 Juni 2021 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has a commitment to provide added value to Indonesian community through many sectors, one of them is tourism sector, this time through 2021 Tourism Village Award that has been open and will soon enter the final stage. In providing comprehensive education for all finalists, BCA holds relevant briefing for the development of tourism villages.
This educational program was opened by Executive Vice President CSR of BCA Inge Setiawati on Monday (06/14), then continued with briefing session by Moh Subagio, Lecturer and Photographer Agus Leonardus, Social Media Trainer Hannif Andy, Tourism Observer, Deputy of Destination and Infrastructure Development of Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry 2020-2021 Hari Sungkari, Geopark and Tourism Village Observer Rani Razak and Aes William W. This briefing was held for two days on June 14-15, 2021, attended by 60 participants from 20 Tourism Village finalists.
“The 2021 Tourism Village Award event is getting closer to the final stage, we are proud to announce 20 tourism village finalists who have successfully passed each selection process. It has become a commitment for BCA to develop tourism aspect, especially during current Covid-19 pandemic. The development is also based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aspects implemented at BCA. Through the 2021 Tourism Village Award event, we are re-enlightened with great tourism potential in Indonesia," said Inge.
Briefing delivered by BCA is the part of 2021 Tourism Village Award before finalists facing judges to present the potentials of their respective tourism villages. In this briefing, participants are provided with many useful information to support their presentation to the judges. The information includes communication and leadership, social media marketing, photography techniques, tourism and presentation techniques. All briefing materials have been adapted to the needs of each tourism village depending on each region.
Tourism villages have taken part in the process of significant tourism development, especially in Indonesia. BCA through Bakti Komunitas(Community Service) program and Solusi Bisnis Unggul (Excellent Business Solutions) pillar supports sustainable tourism in Indonesia. Continuous mentoring is provided to the 12 assisted villages and training held by BCA is also varies, some of them are digital branding,tour guide training, homestay standards training, benchmarking and tour packages developing. During Covid-19 pandemic, all the training are conducted online and are warmly welcomed by tourism village administrators.
As additional information, BCA is currently holding 2021 Tourism Village Award until June 2021. BCA has prepared a total prize of IDR 600 million along with mentoring for the winners of this competition. All tourism villages in Indonesia can play an active role in this competition.

Of course, materials provided this time are not only useful for competition purpose but also applied to the entire village development. We all hope 2021 Tourism Village Award event will be able to present Indonesia’s tourism potentials worth to visit and will restore national economy,”Inge concluded.
BCA Providing Mentoring for 2021 Tourism Village – Tourism Village Award event has entered the next stage, This time, in providing comprehensive education for all finalists, BCA holds relevant briefing for 20 finalists of Tourism Village. The mentoring session was opened with a warm opening speech by Executive Vice President CSR of BCA Inge Setiawati held virtually on Monday (06/14).
