Jakarta, June 4, 2021 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) officially opens registration for SYNYRGY Accelerator Batch 4, after successfully holding previous three batches and passing total of 28 national startups from various fields.
In line with Indonesian government program, SYNRGY Accelerator program is a collaboration and accelerator platform for startup community to encourage the growth and innovation in the digital world. This time, BCA collaborates with KUMPUL as the Strategic Partner, working with more than 70 hubs and entrepreneurship-based communities and startups in 34 cities. This collaboration is expected to reach more potential startup participants from all over archipelago.
Attending the kickoff of BCA SYNRGY Accelerator is Senior Vice President of Digital Innovation Solutions of BCA Adi Prasetyo, VP of Ecosystem of KUMPUL Amalia Aininnur, Acting Director of Digital Economy of Ministry of Communication and Information I Nyoman Adhiarna, on Thursday (5/27).
"We are proud to officially launch the SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4. Through SYNRGY Accelerator, we invite startups across Indonesia to join and receive the opportunity to develop by joining training of the best programs designed according to the startup needs. The goal of this program is to help startups grow their business better and faster. BCA always supports and embraces startups so that they can develop together to support Indonesia’s digital economy,” said Adi Prasetyo.
Unlike the previous batch which focused on startups in Jakarta and its surrounding area, BCA SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4 opens up the opportunity for all startups in Indonesia that already have finished and live products, as well as have tractions/revenue. SYNRGY Accelerator wants to reach a wider range of potential startups across the archipelago in its network. Later on, the selected startups will receive training through one-on-one mentoring sessions, workshops, and sharing sessions from experts in their fields, community events and networking sessions between startups and corporations.
On this launching, Amalia Aininnur expressed, “We see a great potential in BCA SYNRGY Accelerator program which has been proven to produce startup graduates who give positive impact in their respective fields. The presence of this program is also a breath of fresh air for digital startup community across Indonesia, and with KUMPUL’s experience, we will contribute to the success of this program.”
After the kickoff, the event continued with panel discussion with Information and Communication Technology Creativity Empowerment Coordinator of Ministry of Communication and Information Sonny Sudaryana, Fintech Investor of Central Capital Ventura (CCV) Eric Hendrickus, Assistant VP of Digital Innovation Solutions of BCA Erich Sunarta, and Founder & CEO - Assemblr Hasbi Asyadiq as the representative of SYNRGY Accelerator alumnus. Kickoff meeting ended with a mini pitching session attended by number of selected startups.
Seeing great potential provided from the growth of startups in Indonesia in the digital economy and industry, BCA SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4 expects selected startups graduated from SYNRGY Accelerator Batch 4 will continue to inspire and succeed in developing digital industry sector through various technological innovations both in their region as well as nationwide, in Indonesia.
