SUPPORTING THE RECOVERY OF NATIONAL TOURISM, GARUDA INDONESIA ONLINE TRAVEL FAIR (GOTF) IS BACK WITH TICKET DISCOUNT UP TO 85%

Jakarta, March 23, 2021 - Garuda Indonesia National Airline, that is fully supported by BCA, is back with Garuda Indonesia Online Travel Fair (GOTF) which will be held online on 26 – 31 March 2021 through Garuda Indonesia's official digital channels such as "Fly Garuda" mobile application, Garuda Indonesia website and GOTF microsite www.garuda-indonesia.com/gotf.

GOTF is a regular event held by Garuda Indonesia in order to provide a wide selection of flight tickets and domestic travel packages with attractive offers, one of them is flight ticket discounts up to 85% and many other added values.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra said that the implementation of the GOTF is a manifestation of Garuda Indonesia's commitment to continue to actively participate in supporting the recovery of the national economy, especially from the tourism sector, by providing many special and attractive offers for all Indonesians who will fly to various national leading tourist destinations.

Irfan added that the implementation of the online travel fair is also in line with Garuda Indonesia's commitment in facing the new normal era by providing healthy flight services and as company's efforts to provide seamless digital experience services.

“In collaborating with BCA as a bank partner, through this GOTF event, Garuda Indonesia offers many attractive flight plans to various priority tourist destinations such as Denpasar, Labuan Bajo, Sorong, Yogyakarta, Medan, Balikpapan, and Banyuwangi."

“As for our support for the recovery of national tourism, of course, we will always follow the commitment to implementing health protocols performed consistently, especially physical distancing during flights, that has become Garuda Indonesia’s main concern as the aviation service provider during this transition period by coping with new habit ," said Irfan.

Besides offering discounts up to 85%, during 2021 GOTF program, Garuda Indonesia service users will also receive other benefits in the form of a Free Antigen Rapid Test. As for service users, who make transactions using Fly Garuda App, will also get other benefits in the form of a Welcome Bonus up to 2,000 Miles and 50% extra Miles.

This online travel fair program also offers many choices of flights to various priority destinations at the best price with additional flight ticket discounts from IDR 500,000 up to IDR 2,000,000. Other than those offers, during "Happy Hour" program that is held at 09.00 – 11.00 AM WIB and 5.00 – 7.00 PM WIB every day, customers will get the opportunity to receive other benefits in the form of additional discounts up to IDR 2,200,000 for ticket purchase using “Fly Garuda App.” Furthermore, BCA also offers attractive benefits in the form of 0% installment for 3, 6 and 12 months period or a 50% discount up to IDR 200,000 with BCA rewards.

During GOTF event, Garuda Indonesia also introduces "Fly Garuda" application, which is an upgrade version of previous mobile app by bringing various additional service updates. This application can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices. This application brings innovative features to improve user experience, especially during the transition period of coping with new habits.

This latest application is designed to offer convenience for the users, one of them is faster online ticket booking process and check-in service. Besides “Fly Garuda” application, Garuda Indonesia also introduces various new features on GarudaMiles, a digital version of the in-flight magazine and access to e-HAC services that offers a more personal and practical experience for customers.
