Jakarta, 20 November 2020 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) sees that the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy. As part of the national financial economy, BCA is committed to supporting the development of MSMEs in Indonesia. This time, BCA is embracing the MSME sector through the Bangga Lokal program.
The Covid-19 pandemic has unquestionably made the MSME players to organize strategies to optimize their business exploration and realize its full potential. As a form of support for MSMEs, BCA launched a program called Bangga Lokal, which takes place from 20 November 2020 until 19 February 2021.
“In the mist of the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, BCA is always committed to supporting the government efforts to restore the Indonesian economy, including through the MSME sector. The Bangga Lokal program targets MSME players engaged in several industries, especially creative industry, such as food and beverages, fashion, and hobby,” said I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya, Executive Vice President of Transaction Banking Business Development of BCA.
The Bangga Lokal aims to help MSME entrepreneurs to develop their businesses. Besides promotion and marketing, BCA also provides educational programs and an opportunity to obtain capital financing for select MSMEs.
This program also aims to ensure our local products are of high quality in order to compete globally. BCA is collaborating with Grebe and Blibli in this program because of the shared vision in supporting MSMEs in Indonesia. MSME players who participated in the program offer a special discount of up to 80% only at Bangga Lokal. “To date, the Bangga Lokal program has successfully gathered 185 brands, from F&B, fashion to other hobbies that are expected to contribute to the country. For MSME players who have yet to join the Bangga Lokal program, we will invite them to join in the next period, in mid-2021. We hope that this campaign initiative can help advance national MSMEs and eventually help drive the Indonesian economy,” Ketut concluded.
