Malang, 1 September 2020 – As part of the national financial system, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues its commitment to support government programs, including by distributing People’s Business Loans (KUR) in various business sectors. BCA realizes its commitment through various cooperation agreements with Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) scattered all across the country. This time, BCA signed a KUR disbursement agreement with BPR Karya Perdana Sejahtera (KPS) in connection with PT Santosa Agrindo (PT Santori) as a cattle farmers MSMEs partner.
The signing ceremony was attended by Head of BCA Regional Office VII Rudy Kurniawan on Tuesday (01/09). Also attending the direct meeting at PT Santosa Agrindo Babadan, Ngajum District, Malang, was the President Director of PT Santori Safuan Kasno Soewondo, Head of Unit and Partnership of PT Santori Darmawan Bakti Prasada, President Director of BPR KPS Arief Santoso, Director of BPR KPS Herwin Agus Setianto, and Chairman of Koperasi Sekar Insani Bangsa Hermanto.
“BCA continues its support for MSMEs sector in order to help sustain the industry amid the recovery process of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is in line with the government efforts to restore balance of Indonesia’s economy. The disbursement partnership with BPR KPS aims to help local business in Gunung Kawi, Malang, namely cattle-raising operations, considering that BPR KPS is also collaborating with PT Santori, which will perform technology transfer to farmers and also act as an offtaker,” said Rudy.
Through this partnership, BCA distributed micro loans (KUR) with credit limits of Rp20 bn. For your information, currently BPR KPS is one of the largest rural banks in Sidoarjo. In its operations, BPR KPS partners with PT Santori, a company engaged in cattle rearing business in partnership with MSME cattle farmers.
“Efforts to restore Indonesia’s economy since the Covid-19 pandemic are not only the responsibility of the government, but all parties including BCA. With this partnership, we support the government program in cattle self-sufficiency and help local businesses to be more productive, which in turn help boost the national economy,” Rudy concluded.
