Jakarta, 17 March 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is committed to supporting sustainable national development. This time, under the Bakti BCA umbrella, the company aims to fulfill this commitment by inviting students from various regions to participate in the “Genera-Z Berbakti” program.
Genera-Z Berbakti is a program that accommodates proposals for Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), Community Service, or other similar student activities. This initiative aims to provide a platform for students to apply their academic skills directly to rural communities.
“The younger generation plays an important role in shaping Indonesia into a more advanced nation in the future. Their active participation in development is essential to prepare young men and women to become leaders in various situations. Through collaboration between the private sector, universities, and students, Genera-Z Berbakti aims to enhance students' skills in applying their knowledge to address social issues. This program is expected to foster the development of high-quality human resources that could take effective action and contribute to the nation's welfare” said BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP Hera F. Haryn.
The Genera-Z Berbakti program is open to active university students from institutions across various regions recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendikti Saintek). Participants are required to complete a registration form and submit a program proposal by 30 April 2025. Proposals must be prepared in groups and should align with the themes and locations designated by BCA. Each group can consist of 8-12 members.
Participants can choose a theme based on the five pillars of Bakti BCA's sustainable programs, namely:
- Sustainable Tourism and MSMEs,
- Education,
- Environment
- Health, and
- Culture.
The available locations for student activities are as follows:
- Dayun Tourism Village (Riau),
- Derawan Island Tourism Village (East Kalimantan),
- Edelweiss Wonokitri Tourism Village (East Java), and
- Teluk Kiluan Tourism Village (Lampung).
The selected group will receive funding and assistance from Bakti BCA to implement their program within one month. The best-performing group will be selected and awarded additional appreciation in the form of prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, certificates, and scientific publication support.

Bakti BCA believes that the collaboration between the company, students, and universities in building the nation will create a positive impact across all sectors of society. This will indirectly contribute to strengthening both the national and regional economy,” said Hera.
