Jakarta, 12 December 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) projects a cash requirement of Rp
41.2 trillion for the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2025 period. This figure represents a 3% increase compared to the cash demand during last year’s Christmas and New Year period.. The projection comes in line with the heightened economic activity within the community ahead of the Nataru holiday period.
BCA anticipates the increase in transactions and cash needs by preparing a number of services that can facilitate customers. In addition, the company has also prepared various attractive promos for customers through the BCA Year End Salebration 2024 program which runs until January 5, 2025.

The projected cash needs cover the period from Christmas Day (December 21) to January 4, 2025. The increase in cash demand is expected to begin during the final weekend leading up to Christmas 2024.
BCA projects that the number of transactions in the Nataru period will also increase in the company's digital channels. As of September 2024, BCA's mobile and internet banking transaction frequency reached 23 billion, up 24% YoY. The number of customers using BCA Mobile reached more than 31 million. myBCA users grew 8 times in the last 2 years to more than 6 million.
