Represent Indonesia, BCA Nominated Again as The World's Most Trusted Bank by Newsweek Magazine

Jakarta, 20 September 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has once again received the prestigious title of "World's Most Trustworthy Company" awarded by Newsweek Magazine. BCA ranked first globally in the Banks category for the second consecutive year, outperforming 66 other banks from various countries, proudly representing Indonesia in this global competition.

BCA outperformed several leading banks from various countries, including DBS Group from Singapore, Banco do Brasil from Brazil, State Bank of India, and others.

The rankings were awarded by Newsweek based on an independent survey of 70,000 participants and an evaluation of 230,000 responses from customers, investors, and company employees. To determine the World's Most Trustworthy Company, Newsweek collaborated with the global data research firm Statista, which gathered data from 23 industries across 20 countries. Additionally, an analysis of company mentions through social listening on various social media platforms was conducted.

Newsweek is a global media outlet based in New York, with a history spanning more than 90 years. The magazine reaches around 100 million readers each month, both in print and online.

In addition to being recognized as the World’s Most Trustworthy Company by Newsweek, BCA has also been named the Best Bank in Indonesia (#1 World Best Bank) by Forbes. Moreover, BCA is the first and only company in Indonesia to receive the Gallup Global Customer Engagement Award. These achievements highlights the company’s dedication to maintaining customer trust by providing outstanding and high-quality services.

Trust in BCA is also reflected in its consistently growing customer base. By the end of June 2024, BCA had served more than 37 million customer accounts. In line with this, the total frequency of transactions processed by BCA increased by 21% YoY to reach 17 billion, which means BCA serves almost 100 million customer transactions per day. In digital channels, the frequency of mobile and internet banking transactions reached 14.8 billion, up 24% YoY.
