Jakarta 3 April 2018 – After making it accessible to LINE, Facebook Messenger and Kaskus Chat users, VIRA (Virtual Assistant Chat Banking BCA) is now available on Google Assistant platform. Google Assistant users can access information and promotions about BCA through VIRA service.

Especially in this ‘nowadays’ era, in addition to messaging apps, virtual assistant innovation is becoming a growing necessity. The presence of VIRA on Google Assitant platform is a testament to our commitment to provide ease for the searching of information and promotions of BCA,” said Santoso, Director of BCA.
At the initial stage, users can access information on the latest promo and nearest ATM BCA locations via VIRA on Google Assistant. To access Google Assistant, set the language settings to Bahasa Indonesia and update Google app to the latest version.
To connect with VIRA, users can type or use a voice command feature and say “Okay Google. Talk with the Bank BCA”, and then Google Assistant will automatically connect or direct users to communicate with VIRA. Once connected, users can then chat or ask for specific services via voice command, or manually choose service from the menu, or by typing a more specific keyword.
“This certainly will not be the last innovation from BCA. As the customer and public needs grow, this has positively reaffirmed BCA’s position as a bank committed to strive for continual innovation in every aspect, especially in banking solutions it provides,” Santoso concluded.
VIRA is a chat-based banking services application (virtual assistant) that can be accessed through major messaging apps, namely LINE, Facebook Messenger, Kaskus Chat, and now Google Assistant. Currently, VIRA can help you obtain information and promotions on BCA as well as transaction banking-related information. It is fairly easy to use, by simply adding the “Bank BCA”, the official account of BCA, on LINE, Facebook Messenger, Kaskus Chat, and initiate a voice command "Okay Google, Talk with the Bank BCA" on Google Assistant. Users can enter the chat menu once the service is activated. As of February 2018, the number of active users accessing VIRA has reached more than 662 thousand users.
