Jakarta, 6 April 2021 – As part of the national financial system, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to support the government programs for National Economic Recovery (PEN). BCA has demonstrated its support in various forms of activities and stimulus. This time, BCA collaborates with Blibli to add values for MSME businesses impacted by the pandemic. Through Corporate Social Responsibility, BCA has the assisted village programs that aim at building rural economies.
The campaign called Bakti BCA Assisted Village Goes Digital, with opening ceremony was held online and attended by EVP CSR BCA Inge Setiawati, Vice President CSR BCA Ira Bachtar and Senior Vice President of Seller Sales Operation & Development Blibli Geoffrey L Dermawan on Tuesday (06/04). This special occasion was also followed by operators of the 12 Bakti BCA assisted villages.
“The collaboration with Blibli is in line with BCA’s corporate vision and mission, which seeks to bring its assisted villages to be aligned closer to the internet age. We realize that amid limited mobility, digital technology has assumed an even bigger role in various aspects of our lives. The development program for assisted villages serves as a manifestation of the pillars in BCA’s CSR, namely business excellence solutions,” said Inge Setiawati.
The strategic collaboration between BCA and Blibli is supported by three main programs, namely digitization, training and optimization. These programs have been formulated according to the specific needs of each assisted village. The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to assist the development and marketing of products produced by the assisted villages.
Geoffrey L Dermawan, a Blibli’s representative, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with BCA. “Currently, digital transformation is critical for MSMEs to remain competitive. By setting up a digital platform, they can expand their market, and compete with other competitors in the platform by bringing improved product quality,” said Geoffrey. “Furthermore, to realize a digital economy for MSMEs in Indonesia, it is necessary for e-commerce to develop a strategic collaboration with various parties to maximize the potential of digitalised MSMEs. For this reason, Blibli is very pleased to collaborate with BCA in the Bakti BCA Assisted Village Goes Digital program. Through this collaboration, we hope that the potential of MSME businesses and tourists destinations throughout Sumatera, Java, and Nusa Tenggara can help expand their market on Blibli.”
This strategic collaboration will provide access for businesses in tourism villages to use features and services in Blibli e-commerce ecosystem as markets for their goods throughout Indonesia. This is in line with Blibli’s business strategy, namely Customer Satisfaction First, free delivery facility and services, secure payment, 100% leading quality products, 15 days return policy, fast delivery, and 24/7 customer care support #KarenaLokalNo1 (loosely translates to #BecauseLocalNo1)
