Jakarta, 18 December 2020 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA)’s President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja named “Indonesia Most Admired CEO 2020” in the Conventional Bank – Outstanding Leadership in Developing Strategic Effort for Sustainable Banking Performance category from Warta Ekonomi. At the end of 2020, BCA continues to make remarkable feats through a number of awards it won.
Attending the virtual awards ceremony was President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja, who received the award handed over by Fadel Muhammad, Founder & President Commissioner of Warta Ekonomi and Muhamad Ihsan, CEO & Chief Editor of Wartaekonomi.co.id on Friday (18/12).

The Covid-19 pandemic has showcased the value of digitalization and BCA is fully supportive of the government policies to break the chain of corona virus transmission by promoting #BankingFromHome. This can help all customers across the country to maintain the business activities,” explained Jahja Setiaatmadja.
Indonesia Most Admired CEO 2020 this year carries the theme “The Rise of New Leadership Era to Accelerate Recovery”. The theme was chosen because the year 2020 has been an adjustment year for CEOs and president directors in leading their companies. In conducting the assessment, the Warta Ekonomi team used an online survey method with 1,000 respondents from all across the country between September – November 2020. For your information, BCA subsidiaries – BCA Finance and BCA Syariah, also received an award in this event.
BCA continues to encourage customers to optimize the use of digital banking through #BankingFromHome. As of quarter III/2020, the value of BCA mobile banking transactions saw a growth of 28.4% YoY and internet banking BCA grew by 4.1% YoY. Transaction frequency for mobile banking and internet banking grew by 62% and 32% YoY.
“This award will further drive BCA to provide excellent products and services to the people of Indonesia. We hope that the Indonesian economy will get better and gradually recover,” concluded Jahja.
