To encourage the growth of the digital economy and improve the efficiency of budget use, the Government launched the Indonesian Credit Card (KKI) for the Government Segment. KKI transactions are credit card transactions used to make payments for expenditures charged to the Regional Budget (APBD) using the National Payment Gateway (GPN).
The good news is that this Government Segment KKI can be used for transactions on EDC BCA machines. KKI transaction acceptance itself follows the usual credit transaction flow, namely on the “Sale”/”Card” on EDC BCA which makes it easy and convenient.
For additional information, the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) charged for Government Segment KKI on EDC BCA is 1.1% (interbank) for all merchant categories and Line of Business (LoB).
