The KeyBCA is a token-based authentication for BCA customers who use BCA Internet Banking services, such as KlikBCA and myBCA.
KeyBCA serves as additional security that can issue different authorization codes every time a customer makes a transaction. With KeyBCA multi-layered security systems, you can carry out various financial transactions such as fund transfers, purchases,
and payments via KlikBCA and myBCA more securely and more conveniently.
Now that you know what KeyBCA is, it’s time to know how to register, change passwords, and replace KeyBCA.
How to Register for KeyBCA
There are two ways to register for KeyBCA, namely:
- Go to the nearest BCA branch and bring all required documents
- Contact Halo BCA to apply for KeyBCA related to KlikBCA financial activation
How to Change KeyBCA Password
It is easy to change KeyBCA password. Here are the steps:
- Turn on your KeyBCA by pressing the red triangle icon
- Enter KeyBCA PIN
- Press and hold the red triangle icon until "New PIN" appears on KeyBCA screen
If due to certain conditions such as loss, damage, or dead battery, a KeyBCA can no longer be used, you must replace it with the new token. The steps to replace KeyBCA are as follows:
- For BCA customers who are in Indonesia, you can go directly to the nearest BCA branch.
- For BCA customers who are in Singapore/Hongkong, please follow these steps:
- The customer calls the Origin Branch, from which he/she gets the KeyBCA, to request a new KeyBCA and the Branch will send all required forms to the customer’s email.
- The customer sends the completed (unsigned) documents back to the Branch via email. BCA never asks for confidential data such as PINs, Password, Appli 1 or 2 KeyBCA, and OTP Codes, always keep your data confidential #DatamuRahasiamu.
- The customer comes to the Singapore/Hongkong Representative Office for verification and makes wet signatures.
- Confirmation and verification via video call between the customer and the Origin Branch.
- The Representative Branch contact the customer to come back to pick up KeyBCA & sign the KeyBCA handover.
- For BCA customers who are abroad (outside Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong), please follow these steps:
- The customer calls Halo BCA via the haloBCA app and Halo BCA will send all required documents to the customer’s email.
- The customer sends back the completed documents to Halo BCA via email. BCA never asks for confidential data such as PINs, Password, Appli 1 or 2 KeyBCA, and OTP Codes, always keep your data confidential #DatamuRahasiamu.
- Confirmation and verification via video call among the customer, Attorney-in-Fact, and Halo BCA
- The customer sends all forms in hardcopy to the Attorney-in-Fact.
- The Attorney-in-Fact comes to the designated Branch with said forms in hardcopy to collect KeyBCA & sign the KeyBCA handover.
