Indonesia exhibits a rich diversity of arts and cultures. From music, songs, and dances, to traditional costumes and diverse cultural heritages that spread from Sabang to Merauke.
As a genuine effort to invite the public and the younger generation to take part in preserving the nation’s cultural heritage, BCA and iForte will once again hold the Pagelaran Sabang Merauke (Sabang Merauke Show).
Previously, the Sabang Merauke Show held at Prambanan Temple in February 2022 and at Jakarta Theater in early June 2022 was a success. Now the Sabang Merauke Show will be held again on 12 – 13 November 2022 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta.
This time, the show is introducing a Live Performance concept and features famous Indonesian musicians, such as Kikan Namara, Mirabeth Sonia, Christine Tambunan, Taufan Purbo, Alsant Nababan, and Swain Mahisa, and also invite the winner choir of the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing 2022, Batavia Madrigal Singers. The event will pamper the audience with the performance of 21 traditional songs and national songs harmoniously arranged by involving 6 national singers, 46 traditional and modern musicians, and 144 professional dancers.
Furthermore, the Sabang Merauke Show will also present a cultural fair and a selection of MSMEs festivals presented by the BCA Bangga Lokal. Here, visitors can explore our diverse cultures as well as see quality locally-made products.
