The BCA Joint Account is a joint account shared by a few individuals, entities (law/business), or a mix of both. BCA Joint Account is divided into 2 types namely “And” Joint Account, and “Or” Joint Account.
In an “And” Joint Account, every transaction made in the account must be done with the authorization of all parties involved. Meanwhile, transactions in an “Or” joint account can be done by either party that is a member of the account.
BCA “Or” Joint Account Can Be Accessed via myBCA
For ease of transactions, as of 28 March 2024, BCA Joint Account Type “or” between individuals can be linked to myBCA. The holders can connect their accounts on myBCA respectively.
This allows all parties to check their account balances and make transactions through myBCA. Simply choose the Joint Account as the source of funds to be used before making a transacton.
How to Link a BCA Joint Account on myBCA
To link a BCA Joint Account type “or” on myBCA, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to myBCA
- Select the My Account
- Select Account Control
- Select BCA ID Personalization
- Check the “or” Joint Account that you want to connect, click Save
- BCA Joint Account BCA “Or” is now connected to myBCA and ready to use
