How to Transact an Foreign Currency Transfer

  1. Log in to myBCA
  2. Select “Transfer”
  3. Select “Transfer Forex to Other Banks”
  4. Choose the beneficiary account from beneficiary list or select "Transfer to new beneficiary" if the beneficiary account is not registered.
  5. Select Forex Pocket Account/Other Accounts as the source of funds. Forex Pocket Accounts are marked with IDR/FOREX in the description below the account number
  6. Choose Transaction Currency and Source Currency, and complete the transfer amount
  7. Choose Full Amount and Value Date Today services (optional) and other informations
  8. Choose “Promotion Code”
  9. Click “Continue”
  10. If the accumulated foreign currency purchase in a month has reached the threshold of above equivalent USD 100,000, please upload document underlying in the Underlying Documents menu
  11. Ensure the transaction details, then click “Continue”
  12. Transfer successful
    (marked with a green check mark at the very top of the page)

Underlying Documents

Transactions are required to provide underlying documents for these condition:

  • the accumulated foreign currency purchase in a month has reached the threshold of above (≥) equivalent USD 100,000

How to Upload Underlying Documents

  1. Log in to myBCA
  2. Select “Transfer”
  3. Select “Underlying Documents”
  4. Select “Upload Documents”
  5. Select “Beneficiary Country”
  6. Click “Upload Document” to submit underlying documents
  7. Complete the information about Document Type, Document Number, Beneficiary Bank, Beneficiary Account No., Beneficiary Name, and Amount
  8. Click “Continue”
  9. Ensure the completed data, then click “Continue”
  10. Enter the transaction PIN
  11. Underlying documents submission will be processed

How to Check Underlying Documents Verification Status

  1. Log in to myBCA
  2. Select “Transfer”
  3. Select “Underlying Documents”
  4. Check the uploaded documents verification status
  5. Only the document with the status of “Approved” can be used for Foreign Currency Transfer transaction
