Runvestasi: Wealth-Life Balance is an event and competition on running/jogging/walking and investing held by BCA as the organizer, in collaboration with GERAK as the supporting platform.

Runvestasi invites participants to make a positive behavioral transformation of their daily lifestyle, which are physical health through running and financial health through investment. These two aspects complement each other to create a balanced and sustainable life as well as to build good habits to achieve a better quality of life in the years to come.

Join Runvestasi and win valuable prizes by becoming a finisher by running/jogging/walking a minimum of 10 kilometers on the GERAK App and completing at least 3 investment challenges on the myBCA app during the race period of 08 - 22 December 2024.

General Mechanism

  • The Runvestasi virtual competition is open for public, but to take part in the investment challenge participants must be BCA Customers and are minimum 17 years old.
  • Participants can complete the challenges listed on the Runvestasi page on GERAK app to get points and the chance to win prizes such as goods or vouchers.
  • Participants will get a number of points based on the challenges and the distance walked/run during the event period, which will be converted into leaderboard points and tickets for the lucky draw.

    1. Only outdoor running/jogging/walking activities are allowed.
    2. Walking/jogging using GERAK tracker or syncing with STRAVA/ GARMIN/ SUUNTO/ COROS/ POLAR. No manual submissions accepted.
    3. pace of 5 min/km to 15 min/km will be accepted and submitted into the Leaderboard.
    4. For audit purposes, Activity/Maps/Profile cannot be in Private/Hidden/Deleted mode during the race period.
    5. Recap time: 04:00 - 22:00 WIB
    6. Maximal Total Elapsed Time 3 Hours/Day (180 minutes).
    7. Race type is Multiple, so activities can be done periodically and will be accumulated during the race period (December 08 - 22, 2024).
    8. Must have a minimum trust score of 70% on the Leaderboard after the race period ends.
    9. Every 1 km run/jogged/walked will get 5 points that will be submitted into the Leaderboard. Points can be multiplied and accumulated during the Runvestasi period.
    10. If you have completed a minimum of 10 km, you will get an additional 100 points.

  • Terms and conditions for collecting social media video challenge points
    1. Create a minimum 30-second video about the joy of participating in Runvestasi.
    2. Participants can upload video reels max 1 Reels/day during virtual race period, and get maximum 75 points
    3. The video must mention the words “Runvestasi”.
    4. Must tag 3 friends and instagram @goodlifebca & @gerak.now.
    5. The video is posted on the participant's IG reels by including the hashtag #Runvestasi.
    6. Upload the video link on the GERAK app.
    7. Maximum upload 1 video/day/participant.
    8. Every 1 video uploaded will go through a validation process, in which the process takes 2 days from the time the video is uploaded.
    9. Videos may not be deleted until points are added.
    10. 250 Participants with the most likes (minimal 100 likes) will receive a Runvestasi jersey
    11. The calculation of likes to get the jersey will be done on 24 December 2024.
    12. Make sure your account is not private and do not hide like count.
    13. The committee's decision cannot be contested.
  • Runner Appreciation
    100 participants with the farthest kilometers will be rewarded with a Runvestasi Jersey and Medal.
    Mechanism:
    1. Only outdoor running/walking activities are allowed.
    2. For submission only accept Motion GPS Tracker, Strava, Garmin, Suunto, Coros & Polar. Do not accept manual submit.
    3. For audit purposes activity/maps/profile is not private/hidden/deleted during the race period.
    4. Must have 100% Trust Score on the Leaderboard during the race period.

  • Terms and conditions of the investment challenge
    1. Applicable to Runvestasi participants who are registered in the GERAK app and have filled out the Runvestasi Webform on BCA website.
    2. After participants fill out the Runvestasi webform, investment transactions made afterwards will be counted and included in the Investment Challenge.
    3. Points from the Investment Challenge will add the points that can increase the chance to win the Top Leaderboard and get additional prizes in the form of Mutual Fund participation units. Points will also be converted into lucky draw tickets.
    4. 1 customer gets the maximum opportunity to do the investment challenge 1 time/challenge from a total of 5 challenges during the event period. Additional Points from the Investment Challenge are added after the transaction is successfully validated by BCA.
    5. All mutual fund products traded by customers during the event period cannot be sold / switched at least until 2 January 2025 (holding period) in order to receive additional points from the Investment Challenge and Mutual Fund cashback reward subject to available quota. If there is a sale / switching of Mutual Fund products that have been transacted, then the points earned for the Investment Challenge are voided and the customer does not get the Mutual Fund Participation Unit cashback reward.
    6. For Periodic Investment Challenge, the tenor that must be selected is at least 12 months and has been debited min. 1x during the period of 8 December 2024 - 2 January 2025. Participants can choose the debit date between D+1 after inputting the periodic transaction until the end of the event period on 22 December 2024 to ensure the transaction has been debited according to the above criteria.
    7. Transaction benefits cannot be multiplied. 1 customer can get a maximum of 325 additional points from the Investment Challenge and a maximum of IDR250 thousand/customer (while the quota is still available).
    8. Additional points will be updated on the GERAK app every 12, 17, 20, & 27 December 2024. If the points have not increased, participants can check during the next period.
      Example: Customers purchase investment products on 16 December 2024 and have not received points until 17 December 2024, then customers can check the points again on 20 December 2024. If they still do not receive it, they can contact Halo BCA / GERAK.
    9. Throughout the virtual race period, participants' points are not final and can be adjusted until the audit period which is conducted on 8 January 2025.
    10. BCA reserves the right to deduct points earned by customers if there is a violation of the terms and conditions.
    11. Participants have the right to appeal the points if there is a difference on the points that should be received with a maximum time span of 3 working days after the final points are announced (January 8, 2025).
    12. Investment transactions must be made the latest on 22 December 2024 before 13.00 WIB (in accordance with the terms of Mutual Fund transaction cut-off time).
    13. Cashback is given in the form of Mutual Fund participation units in accordance with the product purchased by the customer. Mutual Fund participation unit benefits will be given in the 2nd week of February 2025.

Pre-event challenge mechanism

  • There are 2 Pre-event Challenges on Runvestasi 2024, Participants who participate in the challenge can get a chance to win prizes!
    1. Twibbon Posting
      • Post a photo using the Runvestasi twibbon on the participant's IG feed.
      • Must tag 3 friends and Instagram @goodlifebca & @gerak.now.
      • Post must not be deleted before 29 November 2024.
      • Caption must contain comments about “Why should I join Runvestasi?” and a call to join Runvestasi along with the date and location of the Runvestasi event as well as hashtag #Runvestasi.
      • 250 participants with the most likes during the period will receive a Runvestasi jersey (minimum 100 likes/post).
      • 1 participant with the most interesting caption and the most likes will get a 40 ozStanley Quancher tumbler(minimum threshold of 100 likes/post).
      • Make sure your account is not private and you are not allowed to enable the hide like count feature.
      • The committee's decision cannot be contested.
    2. Pre-event Video Challenge
      • Create a minimum 30-second video about why health and investment are important and why people should join Runvestasi.
      • The video must mention the words “Runvestasi” and “Investment via Welma feature in myBCA”.
      • Must tag 3 friends and Instagram @goodlifebca & @gerak.now.
      • The video is posted on the participant's IG reels with the hashtag #Runvestasi.
      • 10 participants with the most interesting videos and the most likes will get a 40 oz Stanley Quancher tumbler (minimum 100 likes/post).
      • Please make sure your account is not private and enable  hide like count.
      • The committee's decision cannot be contested.

  • Top Leaderboard Terms and Conditions:
    • Participants must fill in the Runvestasi webform on BCA website and already have a Mutual Fund SID maximum until 22 December 2024 in order to be able to receive additional Mutual Fund participation unit benefits.
    • If the participant does not have a Mutual Fund SID during the specified deadline, the customer is not entitled to get the cashback of the Mutual Fund units as follows:
      • Top 3 Leaderboard Men & Women in the form of Mutual Fund participation unit of IDR2,500,000

Terms & Conditions

Runvestasi 2024 is an event that can be joined by anyone anywhere with the following terms and conditions:

  1. To participate in Runvestasi 2024, all participants must first register through the GERAK app.
  2. GERAK app can be downloaded on Google Playstore or Apple App Store.
  3. After downloading the application, go to the Event page and Register for the Runvestasi 2024 event.
  4. Registration opens on 11 October - 10 December 2024.
  5. The race will take place on 08 - 22 December 2024. Each participant can do relaxing sports activities anywhere and anytime during the period.
  6. Participants can use the tracker on the GERAK app to record running/jogging/walking activities. Participants can also connect other fitness trackers such as Strava/Suunto/Garmin/Coros/Polar to the GERAK app.
  7. GERAK will automatically retrieve activity data from the connected app.
  8. Participants will NOT be able to do manual submission on the Event page in the GERAK app if they are using other trackers or using a treadmill.
  9. During the Race, Leaderboard Period is UNOFFICIAL (temporary/not final). The Submission/Sports Activities audit process is carried out by the system and committee every day within 7 - 10 days after the race ends and participants have the right to appeal by sending supporting data to the GERAK Auditor team. Investment Challenge will be verified by BCA. BCA will adjust the points if there is a discrepancy in the investment points. BCA will conduct an inspection after the holding period.
  10. Participants must complete the run/jog/walk challenge at least 10 kilometers in accordance with the rules to be declared a Finisher and admitted into the Leaderboard. (Points can be earned through Virtual Race, Social Media Challenge, Investment Challenge and additional points for finishing the 10 KM race).
  11. Top 100 participants who have participated and have the furthest walk/run during the period will get Gold Medal and Jersey.
  12. Participants must fill out the Runvestasi webform and already have a Mutual Fund SID maximum until 22 December 2024 in order to receive additional Mutual Fund Participation Unit benefits. If until 22 December 2024 the participant has not filled out the webform and does not have a Mutual Fund SID, then the participant only gets direct prizes (Garmin EPIX PRO G2 42mm, Travel E-Voucher worth Rp 7.5 million, and MAP E-Voucher worth Rp 5 million).
  13. There are 2 medals made by the committee, which are Gold Medal for the Top 100 Leaderboard and Silver Medal (paid/add-on) for participants who order separately on the GERAK application.
  14. If the finisher orders the Silver Medal (paid/add-on) and is included in the Top 100 Leaderboard, then the participant gets 2 medals: Gold Medal & Silver Medal which will be sent to the destination address.
  15. If the finisher does not order the add-on medal and is selected as the Top 100 Leaderboard, the Gold Medal will be sent to the address after being contacted and confirmed by the GERAK Team for address confirmation.
  16. Participants can order and purchase Silver Medals during the registration period through the GERAK application.
  17. Medals will be sent no later than 15 days after the event ends to the location of the home or office address that has been registered in the GERAK app.
  18. Participants can also have a special edition Runvestasi 2024 jersey by placing an order during the registration period on the GERAK app.
  19. Jersey delivery will be made before the race starts, if ordered before 15 November 2024 (pre-order period). For Jersey orders after the pre-order period, it will be delivered after the event ends. Jersey is sent to the location of the home or office address registered in the GERAK app. Make sure the address entered is correct and complete so that the delivery runs smoothly.
  20. Announcement and delivery of pre-event challenge prizes will be notified on Instagram @gerak.now
  21. Prizes will be sent directly to the lucky winners free of charge.

Other terms:

  1. All decisions and results of the competition are the absolute rights of the organizers (BCA & GERAK) and cannot be contested.
  2. All participants who take part in this activity are considered to have agreed to the above written terms & conditions made by the organizer.
  3. Runvestasi 2024 is an official event from BCA.
  4. The organizer has the right to disqualify participants and/or winners who according to the organizer do not meet and/or violate the applicable terms and conditions.
  5. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged for other goods/products, or replaced with money and transferred to other people.
  6. Any data, photos / videos, and captions included in the activity become the property of the organizer and the organizer has the right to use them in accordance with the interests of this program including but not limited to advertising, print and digital promotional materials, and so on.
  7. Participants who take part in this activity are free of charge (except for self-purchase add-ons). Merchandise sales can only be made on the GERAK Application at the time of the event registration. Participants are expected to be cautious about matters related to fraud attempts from any party.
  8. BCA & GERAK as the organizer reserve the right to change and/or modify the terms and conditions of this activity from time to time with or without prior notice.

Who can join Runvestasi 2024?

Virtual race is open for public but investment challenge is only for participants who are at least 17 years old.

How to register for Runvestasi 2024 event?

How do Participants get into the leaderboard?

Collect as many points as possible by completing Runvestasi 2024 challenges on GERAK app.

How do participants send/submit their walking/running activity results?

Participants can use the tracker feature on the GERAK app to record their walking/running activities.

Can participants submit their walking/running activity results using Strava/Garmin/Suunto and other apps?

Yes, you can. Make sure the application is connected to the GERAK app.

Can participants submit walking/running activity results periodically and don’t have to complete them in 1 day/activity?

Yes, participants can do activities periodically as long as they are still within the race period, which is on 08 - 22 December 2024. Activities done before or after the race period are not valid.

What if the participant's walking/running pace is not between 5 - 15 minutes/km?

The system will automatically consider that the participant's activity is not in accordance with the Runvestasi 2024 event rules and the data will not be submitted to the Leaderboard.

Can participants complete the walking/running activity using a treadmill?

No, participants must complete the walk/run on an outdoor track.

How do participants know that their points have been recorded in the Runvestasi 2024 event?

On the leaderboard there will be a record of kilometer points and challenge points that participants have achieved and will be updated regularly in the GERAK app.

Can participants get prizes in this Runvestasi 2024 event?

All participants who successfully complete each challenge category will have the opportunity to win prizes including lucky draws.

When will the Runvestasi 2024 champions and prize winners be announced?

The champions and prize winners of Runvestasi 2024 event will be announced after the competition and leaderboard audit process is completed which is on Friday, 17th January 2025.

What if I experience technical or non-technical problems during the activity period?

For technical problems with the GERAK app and Runvestasi 2024 event, participants can contact Customer Support from GERAK via Instagram @gerak.now and WhatsApp 08119933776. What are the requirements for each challenge in the Investment Challenge?

The description of terms and conditions can be accessed when participants register for Runvestasi in the GERAK app by clicking the “Get More Points” button and then selecting the challenge in the GERAK app.

Is the Investment Challenge mandatory for all participants?

Participants are not required to participate in the Investment Challenge, but participating in the Investment Challenge can increase participants' points. Investment Challenge is mandatory to participate in the Lucky Draw (minimum 3 out of 5 Investment Challenge).

What is the purpose of the points earned from the Investment Challenge?

  • Investment Challenge points are used to increase participants' points on the top leaderboard.
  • The points earned will increase the participant's chance to win the Lucky Draw prize.

How do participants earn points?

Through walking/running activities, Investment Challenge, sharing the excitement of Runvestasi via virtual race video challenge.

When will the Investment Challenge points be updated in the GERAK app?

Additional points from Investment Challenge will be updated on GERAK app on 12, 17, 20, & 27 December 2024. If the points have not increased, participants can check on the next period.

For example: participants make an investment purchase on 16 December 2024 and have not received points until 17 December 2024, then participants can check points again on 20 December 2024. If they still have not received any points, they can contact Halo BCA.

Can the points collected during the event period be reduced?

If it is found that there is a non-compliance / violation of the terms & conditions given, BCA has the right to reduce the points received by the participant. The final points earned by participants can be seen in the GERAK app on 8 January 2025.

If there is a difference in Investment Challenge points, do participants have the right to file a complaint?

  • Participants can submit an appeal if there is a difference in points maximum 3 working days after the final points are announced.
  • For walking/running points: participants have the right to appeal by sending supporting data to the GERAK Auditor Team (WhatsApp: 085176773776).
  • For Investment Challenge: participants have the right to appeal by sending supporting data sent via Whatsapp Halo BCA using #HALOBCA RUNVESTASI 2024 to connect to Halo BCA agent.

Do all transactions for the challenge have to be done via myBCA application?

Investment transactions can be done through the Welma feature in myBCA application or BCA branch offices that serve Mutual Fund transactions.

Can investment transactions be done repeatedly so that participants can get more points from the Investment Challenge?

There are 5 Investment Challenges, points will be given for each investment activity / transaction during the virtual race. Participants can only participate in each Investment Challenge once.

If participants make periodic investment transactions, can they also claim the Rp100,000 and Rp1 million Investment Transaction challenges?

No, each challenge must be done on different transactions.

If participants make a transaction of Rp1 million for the Rp1 million Investment Transaction challenge, can they also claim the Rp100 thousand Investment Transaction challenge?

No, each challenge must be done on different transactions.

Can the Investment Challenge program be combined with an ongoing marketing program? What is the mechanism?

Investment Challenge can be combined with Mutual Fund cashback programs up to Rp500 thousand for new investors and free investment fee program.

Is every participant required to have SID?

No, but participants who have Mutual Fund SID as of 22nd December 2024 will get additional benefits of Mutual Fund participation unit cashback for the top leaderboard winners.

Mutual Fund SID is one of the Investment Challenge that must be done to participate in the Lucky Draw.

What if until 22 December 2024 participants do not have SID?

Participants cannot participate in the Lucky Draw and do not get Mutual Fund units cashback benefit if they are in the top leaderboard.

What are the terms and conditions to participate in the Lucky Draw program?

  • Valid for participants who have filled out the Runvestasi Webform , completed min. 3 out of 5 Investment Challenges and have completed at least 10 KM Virtual Race.
  • Each participant is only entitled to one Lucky Draw prize.
  • Must have a trust score of at least 80%.

Are taxes on the prizes from Runvestasi event charged to participants?
